QDT Heatpipe Exchanger

The units are normally air to air heat exchanger working in a counter flow. On the outside they look the same as standard heating and cooling registers, but instead of liquid- carrying pipe coils, an appropriate number of heat pipes are fitted which work independently of one another.

The two air or gas streams are hermetically sealed from each other by a partition.

A double partition, without or with a dead space between, is installed, depending on the field of application. Not only perceptible heat but also latent heat is transferred to the cold face falls below the dew point.

In general, up to 90 % of the heat is recovered.
